- Recording Artist - (drums & vocals) with The Free Thinkers. Produced, arranged and conducted by Garry Sherman ('Up On The Roof', 'Under The Boardwalk', 'Brown Eyed Girl' etc). "You Were Born For Me" (Wes Farrell & Doc Pomus-BMI 6544) was the band's first single (Mala 517) released on Bell-Mala-Amy (Arista) Records in July of 1965. Band members included Frank Rondell (lead vocals & harmonica), Joe Campese (guitar & vocals) Jeff Pelsone (Hammond B3 organ & vocals) and Pete Stokes (Fender Bass). Recorded at NYC's legendary National Recording Studios located in The Edison Hotel by engineer Brooks Arthur (Producer of Janis Ian's "Between The Lines"/'At Seventeen'), the session took place in June of 1965. "Why, Why, Why" (Mort Schuman) and "Follow The Sun" (Brian Hyland) were also recorded on that 'date'.
