Enjoys snowboarding, ice skating, rollerblading, basketball, swimming, horseback riding.

Was cast as Gibb in Freddy vs. Jason (2003), but then lost the part because of another film scheduling conflict. The producers re-cast Katharine Isabelle in the role.

There was a big debate on whether or not Lauren would keep her blonde hair for "Mutant X" (2001).

During her youth she traveled around the world with her family and has lived in Europe, Central America, The U.S. and Canada.

In 2002 Lauren was nominated for a Gemini for her role as Evil Emma in Mutant X's Double Vision.
