Lady GaGa and Bruno Mars have been confirmed to play this year's MTV EMAs. The performers have both been added to the lineup for the award show, which will take place at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on November 6. They join previously-announced guests Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Coldplay, Jessie J, Lmfao, Snow Patrol and Jason Derulo. Selena Gomez will be on hand to present the main show, as well as offering Twitter updates and behind-the-scenes gossip across other MTV platforms. Well, Nancy Grace certainly knows how to bring the, ahem, "big finish" to her dance moves. On last night's Dancing with the Stars, the news commentator suffered a "nip slip" during the final moments of her dance. While nowhere near Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction, the clip is making its way around the web this morning.
The shoot for Rihanna's "We Found Love" music video had to be moved after the Irish farmer who'd given her permission to use his grain field objected to the singer's "handkerchief bikini" on Monday, driving his tractor over to halt filming. He's quoted as saying later, "I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God."

Usually with each new Björk album comes the often wishful mutterings of it finally representing her "return to pop", as if she's about to recreate Debut, move back to London and start dating Goldie again. Needless to say, Biophilia – an album prefaced by an elaborate iPad app and thematically encompassing the entire universe – isn't loaded with singles. Björk chooses instead to flit between the beautiful ("Cosmogony"), the downright creepy ("Hollow") and, in "Mutual Core", the world's first song about tectonic plates set to a ravey mesh of bleeps and whooshes. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Staind, and Blink-182 all returned to Billboard’s alternative rock chart this week after varying degrees of absence. Can Bush be far behind? The Gavin Rossdale-led band first single, “The Sound Of Winter,” debuted yesterday on Los Angeles’ Kroq and the band followed by playing it on “The Jimmy Kimmel Show” last night.
