- Karl Sloboda is mostly remembered today through the film adaptations of his plays, "Tea For Three" and "Infernal Machine". Sloboda was a one time successful Austrian-Hungarian playwright who lost his fortune during the periods of high inflation that plagued post World War One Europe.
