Announcer for not only the Disney TV programs, but for all the Disney movie trailers customarily shown at the end of the program, up until the late 1970s. These include the re-releases of the Disney classics, as well as for then-new films such as Mary Poppins (1964).
Not to be confused with actor Dick Wesson.
Was the main announcer for several early productions by Quinn Martin. They include: The New Breed (1961), The Fugitive (1963), 12 O'Clock High (1964), and The Invaders (1967).
Was dying of cancer when he committed suicide.
