First Look at Thanos In The Avengers: Infinity War?

17 July 2016 2:38 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

It has been a few years since The Mad Titan known as Thanos first appeared very briefly in a post credit scene in The Avengers. Ever since, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building him up with little teases, all leading up to Infinity War in 2018. Thanks to the visual effects company Ironhead Studio, we now have a new look at Thanos.

The studio released the new look at Thanos on their various social media channels yesterday, and the have been circulating like wildfire on Twitter ever since. The photo features a front facing shot of Thanos, showcasing his classic armor, and his no nonsense look. What is perhaps most notable though is that this look appears to be based a lot more in the practical effects realm, as opposed to being almost entirely CGI, and the results are very compelling.

11 May 2016 12:36 PM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Deadpool” has received the honest trailer treatment, following the likes of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Fantastic Four” and more in the Screen Junkies’ popular parody series. But this time, the star of “Deadpool,” Ryan Reynolds, stopped by to throw in his own jabs about the irreverent superhero.

“When Aquaman starts throwing out sperm whale jokes, you know who to thank,” chimes in Reynolds as the Merc with a Mouth, referencing the success of his R-rated, cheeky “Deadpool,” and the slew of superhero movies that are likely to follow its trend.

Reynolds dressed as Deadpool in the “Deadpool” honest trailer? It’s so “meta,” as the trailer states.

The trailer gets real about box office figures, reminding everyone how this “unlikely” hit beat out other popular superhero movies in the domestic box office, including the recent DC vehicle “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

The Early 'Captain America: Civil War' Reviews Are Spectacular

11 April 2016 8:12 AM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

Spider-Man. Black Panther. The Airport scene. Prepare to be talking about them after you see "Captain America: Civil War."

Cap's third solo (sort of) movie isn't arriving in theaters until May 6, so it's a wee bit too early to be checking Rotten Tomatoes for official reviews. However, some critics got to see the movie almost a month early, and shared brief reactions on Twitter. Long story short: They loved it. Granted, screening audiences tend to be overly enthusiastic, but they got pretty specific (and consistent) about what they loved, while avoiding any spoilers:

#CaptainAmericaCivilWar delivers the goods. Endless Avenger v Avenger action. Tense and still funny. Boseman kills it as Black Panther.

Chadwick Boseman is fantastic as Black Panther. Can't wait to see his solo film. He absolutely nailed the role.
