‘Gotham’ Season 4 Extended Trailer Goes Full ‘Dark Knight’ — Watch

20 hours ago | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

Get ready to catch the Bat-light this Thursday, as “Gotham” returns for its Season 4, subtitled “A Dark Knight.” Judging by the new extended trailer that Fox released on Monday, it looks like it is going to be a very wild ride.

The “dark band” trailer (approved for “Gotham citizens ready for a Dark Knight”) reminds us of last season’s craziness by featuring some of the most important moments, but it leads into even more craziness as more and more villains join the ranks to disturb the already-damaged stability of Gotham City.

The most notable villain to be introduced this season is Scarecrow, whose interaction with Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) is spotlighted more in this trailer than the one released during Comic-Con in July.

Synopses For Gotham Season 4’s First Two Episodes Surface

11 September 2017 10:16 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

If there’s one advantage that Gotham has over its DC TV brethren at The CW, it’s that it’ll commence its next season several weeks before the others do. Having said that, it’s only expected that synopses surface, each providing even more clues as to what we can expect from the next leg of Bruce Wayne’s journey toward becoming Batman.

First, on Thursday, September 21, we have the season 4 premiere that’s peculiarly titled “Pax Penguina.” From that, we can obviously infer that the deadly rivalry involving the Penguin and the Riddler that began in season 3 will spill over here, but it appears that the Scarecrow and Ra’s al Ghul may steal the show. And seeing as how Alexander Siddig, who is reprising his role as the Demon’s Head, is now a series regular, that’s a very real possibility.

Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi Was Nearly In Star Trek

8 September 2017 1:30 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Sci-fi TV fans would love to see the Tardis land on the USS Enterprise one day, and while we’re still a way off from that ever happening, it turns out that the Doctor himself almost appeared in the Star Trek universe at one point.

Yes, that’s right. Outgoing Time Lord Peter Capaldi auditioned to play the lead role of Captain Benjamin Sisko on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This intriguing bit of news comes courtesy of the trekdocs Twitter account, which unearths little-known facts about the series. This time, they’ve got hold of a list of actors who auditioned for the show from a UK casting call from back in 1992.

Review: Gotham The Complete Third Season

28 August 2017 1:52 PM, PDT | Comicmix.com | See recent Comicmix news »

Despite their wealth and social status. Thomas and Martha Wayne were victims of random violence in a city filled with such acts on an hourly basis. The robbery and dual murders could have happened to anyone which makes Bruce Wayne a sympathetic character – he could be us. His training to become Batman resonates because any of us could dedicate ourselves both mentally and physical to perfection in order to prevent others from becoming victims.

Unless you’re watching the mess that is Gotham. There, the everyman aspect has been stripped away from the event so here, in this twisted version of the comics, we learn their murders was ordered by the Court of Owls which is somehow tied in to the utterly corrupt Board of Directions of Wayne Enterprises.

Bruce Wayne’s Journey Continues As The Scarecrow Spreads Fear In Gotham Sdcc Trailer

22 July 2017 4:45 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Saying a lot happened this past season on Gotham is a massive understatement. Still, those who cut the trailer shown today at San Diego Comic-Con did their best to sum it up. Throughout the sizzle reel, we got to relive some of the finer points such as the rise of the Riddler, the return of Jerome Valeska and Bruce Wayne taking his first great strides toward becoming Batman.

On that note, it very much sounds like we can expect to see David Mazouz’s take on the timeless icon to continue dispensing street justice throughout the alleys of his home city in the coming year. There’s just one catch, however: Don’t expect him to take up cape and cowl anytime soon, something executive producer John Stephens touched on during the panel:

“In season four Bruce will have body armour, and have grappling hooks, and wear a mask, but he wont be Batman. »

Gotham season 4 will see Selina Kyle evolving into Catwoman

9 July 2017 5:00 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

As Bruce Wayne continues his journey towards donning the cape and cowl in Gotham, young actor David Mazouz has revealed that the upcoming fourth season will see Camren Bicondova’s Selina Kyle following in his footsteps as she evolves into Catwoman.

“With Selina specifically, Selina is also going to be transforming into Catwoman in a major way this season,” Mazouz tells Comic Book. “I’m not going to say too much about that, but she’s definitely going to be making a leap into her evolution as Selina, as Catwoman. Bruce and Selina’s relationship as we knew it before will really start to crumble because of certain events that happen early on in the season, but Catwoman, prototype Catwoman’s relationship with masked vigilante Bruce, that will be a different thing altogether.”

Gotham gives us its best season finale yet by turning its heroes into villains (at least for a little while)...

3.21 Destiny Calling & 3.22 Heavydirtysoul

Gotham has always been better at writing its villains than its heroes, which is why, perhaps, when it turns its heroes into villains for its season three finale, it gives us its best season ender yet.

Heading into Destiny Calling, part one of the Gotham two-hour season finale, the show's chief symbols of morality have both been compromised — Bruce by his Court of Owls-sanctioned conditioning at the hands of the Shaman and Jim by the Tetch virus. As manly heroes are wont to do in these cases, they both fight against the villainous forces whispering in their ear, but can only do so »

Gotham Gets Another Extended Promo Ahead Of Season Finale

5 June 2017 11:41 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

With the oversized finale to Gotham‘s third season being but a few hours away, it’s understandable that the network will want to do all they can to help get word out. Having already released one extended promo, along with a sneak peek focusing on the urgency to find a cure for the Alice Tetch virus and a featurette spotlighting the debut of Ra’s al Ghul, yet another extended trailer has now been offered up by Fox.

This one, while maintaining a sense of urgency, doesn’t shy away from showcasing the many villains that’ll be appearing. In the past, Gotham has had a problem with trying to wrap up too many plot threads involving its myriad of characters in its finales, a fault that not even the otherwise incredible season 2 was able to escape. This time, hopefully, things go a little smoother considering that two hours »

New Gotham Featurette Offers First Look At Ra’s al Ghul

2 June 2017 11:13 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Although Bruce Wayne has yet to fully mature, Gotham has wasted no time when it comes to utilizing the greatest villains the Batman mythos has to offer. Having already been introduced to the likes of Riddler, Penguin, Mr. Freeze and a series stealing proto-Joker, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that the Demon’s Head join the party.

In fact, next Monday’s highly anticipated season finale will mark the debut of the man behind the Court of Owls and League of Shadows, Ra’s al Ghul. Played by veteran actor Alexander Siddig, this version of one of the Dark Knight’s deadliest foes may be the most comic book accurate depiction to appear in live action – even more so than Matt Nable’s portrayal on Arrow. Well, except for his lack of sinister-looking points on his beard. To date, only Liam Neeson and the faux Ra’s in »

The Search For A Cure Begins In Gotham Season Finale Sneak Peek

1 June 2017 10:34 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Had you watched this past Monday’s episode of Gotham, then you’re fully aware that the Shaman succeeded at releasing the Alice Tetch virus on unsuspecting citizens, thereby making it a matter of time before the city goes nuts and tears itself apart. But before the League of Shadows can make their presence known, the dedicated folks at the Gcpd will do all they can to avert catastrophe.

As we can see in the sneak peek embedded at the top, Lucius Fox brings news that there is, in fact, a possible cure to the virus, bringing much relief to Harvey Bullock and Jim Gordon – especially when you consider that the latter is currently infected. There’s just one problem, though: Hugo Strange, the man with the formula, is currently in the wind. Thus, the hunt begins.

While we do expect for most of Gotham City’s inhabitants to be cured, »
