Andrew Shue was born on February 20, 1967 in South Orange, New Jersey, USA as Andrew Eppley Shue. He is an actor and writer, known for Melrose Place (1992), The Rainmaker (1997) and Gracie (2007). He has been married to Amy Robach since February 6, 2010. He was previously married to Jennifer Hageney.

Went to Columbia High School, in Maplewood, New Jersey where he founded the Hall of Fame, which he and his sister Elisabeth Shue became members of in 1994. Zach Braff also attended Columbia High School, but at a later time. As a matter of fact, Zach lived around the corner from the Shues.

The first child of Andrew Shue, Nathaniel William, was born the 1st August 1996.
Like his sister, Elisabeth Shue, Andrew named his son after their late older brother, William Shue, who died at the family's summer home on Block Island, Rhode Island (off Long Island).
He lived in Zimbabwe for a year and played for the Highlanders football team. He still has a passion for Africa and in February 2004 he met with Zimbabwean filmmaker Chloe Traicos and discussed the current situation with her.
