ELIZABETH PARISI is an Actress, Presenter, Voice Artist and Writer, based in her hometown of Melbourne.
Elizabeth's love of storytelling was born onstage as a classical ballet dancer, and quickly blossomed into a passion for acting. As a teen, she cut her teeth on TVCs, and buried herself in the worlds of Shakespeare and Chekhov. This was followed by recurring television roles on NEIGHBOURS, BLUE HEELERS and CRASH ZONE 2, plus a plethora of indie films (including Edwina Exton's award-winning short, THE FORTUNE TELLER), presenting gigs and voiceover campaigns. She also danced her way around Hong Kong as Mickey Mouse at one point.
After travelling the world and circumnavigating Australia via the sea, Elizabeth re-emerged in Ramsay Street, played Mrs Harrison in Xue Xiaolu's blockbuster action feature, THE WHISTLEBLOWER (2019), and joined the International Actors Ensemble in 2020, staging chronological virtual performances of Shakespeare's works. In May 2023, she wrapped on mockumentary feature, I WANNA BE FAMOUS, starring as PR Queen, Foxy. Furthermore, she is a Presenter (Television and Radio), Voice Artist and regular guest on Melbourne's number one radio station: 3AW 693.
She studied at Trinity College London (Speech & Drama), the National Theatre Ballet School and, later, at the National Theatre Drama School. She was subsequently awarded the VicHealth Scholarship at St Martins. During her time living in London, Elizabeth spent a year of full time study at The Method Studio and was a student at The Actors Centre.
Elizabeth's writing career stems from a Masters degree in journalism - her resume includes Lonely Planet, The Australian Ballet and Channel Nine's THE BLOCK. A self-confessed cinephile and wordsmith-slash-grammar-vigilante, she most recently merged her skill sets to begin penning screenplays in the thriller and comedy genres.
Additionally, Elizabeth has a penchant for photography, inspired by her time at Lonely Planet, and is a published children's book author.
A Melbourne girl at heart, Elizabeth has an obsession with coffee, a conversational proficiency in sport and knows how to dress for all seasons in one day. She also has a Jack Russell Terrier who likes to chase flies.
