In 1986 Bobby Sherman was a regular cast member on a cable tv sitcom called "Sanchez of Bel Air" starring Reni Santoni. He played Frankie Rondell the next door neighbor who was a ditzy but good hearted former one hit wonder teen idol living off his royalties. The premise of the show was a Latino family makes good in the fashion industry and move to Bel Air encompassing all the problems the other neighbors had with this family living there.
