Asylum of Darkness: "'Wild Eye Releasing unlocks the doors to award-winning filmmaker Jay Woelfel's supernatural horror feature Asylum of Darkness this April.

Woelfel’s stirring cocktail of supernatural suspense and goosebump-inducing horror features a superlative cast of sci-fi and horror icons including Golden Globe nominee Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica), in one his final film appearances.

Wild Eye Releasing has announced that the supernatural horror Asylum of Darkness – starring the late Richard Hatch alongside Tim Thomerson, Tiffany Shepis, Nick Baldasara, Amanda Howell and Frank Jones Jr. – is set for release next week. Take a look at the poster, trailer and synopsis here…

After awakening in a mental asylum, a patient plans his escape to freedom while fighting off supernatural forces in both the real world, and some that may only live inside his head. But once on the outside,  he learns that the life awaiting him is more twisted and dangerous than anything he could conjur in his head, one that is luring him back to the asylum forever.

Asylum of Darkness is in theaters and on VOD in the States from April 11th, and is directed by Jay Woelfel (Season of Darkness, Trancers 6). »

One of Richard Hatch's final onscreen performances will be unveiled later this month, Heat Vision has learned.

Asylum of Darkness, about a man who plots his escape from a mental asylum while fighting off supernatural forces, will premiere on VOD April 11 from Wild Eye Releasing. In an exclusive clip from the film, Hatch's character, Dr. Shaker, shows off his scarier side.

Asylum of Darkness is written and directed by Jay Woelfel and also stars Tim Thomerson, Tiffany Shepis, Nick Baldasare, Amanda Howell and Frank Jones Jr.

A new short film from director Patricia Chica 'The Cholas' has just been announced.

Below is the first look exclusive details about the project. Stay tuned for addition details about this project as they become available.

The Cholas, starring Tiffany Shepis, Devanny Pinn, Eileen Dietz, Michelle Romano, Tonya Kay, Ivan Sharudo and Philip Friedman (This is the first time Tiffany Devanny and Eileen will appear on screen together).

The segment for the Soska Sisters Massive Blood Drive PSA will be shot this month in Los Angeles and debut in February as part of the Women in Horror Month celebration.
