'Mad Men's most surprising guest stars, from Kristen Schaal to Alexis Bledel and... Mr. Belding?!

7 May 2012 8:40 AM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

Is Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner secretly a nostalgic Millennial? It sure seems that way, considering the actors who have popped up on Mad Men lately. Sure, big-ish names like Julia Ormond have made appearances on the show — but their numbers are dwarfed by the veterans from Gen Y touchstones like The Secret World of Alex Mack, Clarissa Explains It All, 10 Things I Hate About You, Gilmore Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and even Saved by the Bell who have been invading AMC’s flagship series for years. This might indicate that Weiner and his casting directors love the late »

Castle: 4.20 "The Limey" Review

Castle: 4.20 "The Limey" Review

Unlike many episodes in which a third party comes between our dynamic duo, last night’s “The Limey” didn’t cause jealousy for either of them. Instead, it left Detective Kate Beckett heartbroken and Castle acting like a petulant child whom I started to progressively hate over the course of those forty-two minutes.

I admit I was a little reluctant about this episode and not at all excited about the fact that someone would presumably come between Castle and Beckett again, particularly after how last week’s “47 seconds” ended. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The case was alright (although I was more preoccupied with the characters – especially Kate – than the case itself) and I actually liked Mr. Scotland Yard. Of course the fact that he was really easy on the eyes helped, but I liked the way the character was written »

Castle Review: Tomorrow's Never Promised

2 April 2012 9:30 PM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Another week, another solid episode. Following up from last week’s “47 Seconds,” Castle returned with "The Limey." The hour featured great guest stars, forward movement and some hot looking people. Let’s discuss.

International Love. The weekly case focused on the murder of a British model who had been looking for clues to the murder of her doctor boyfriend. The victim found herself in the company of a rapper and British Consulate director who was played by Charles Shaughnessy from The Nanny. The case was pretty standard. Typical twists and turns, but interesting and entertaining nonetheless.

How hilarious were the two rappers?!? Biggie Slim and Nikki J? Classic Castle humor. The other best thing about this installment? Well, that would be...

McSteamy McScotland. Hello, Brett Tucker! Where have you been hiding? Apparently on several episodes of Spartacus, which I will now be catching up on. Tucker played Detective Colin Hunt and he played him well. »

Castle Sneak Peeks: Episode 4.20 "The Limey"

Castle Sneak Peeks: Episode 4.20 "The Limey"

Well, this week's episode certainly left the fandom - and Castle - heartbroken, didn't it? It also split the fans' opinion on whether Castle's reaction to Kate's big secret was properly addressed and what the fallout of the secret and his reaction is going to play out in this last stretch of episodes until the season finale on May 7.

We have to wonder no more. The Alphabet Network made us sweat a little tonight on the expectation of these sneak peeks and I have to say I am definitely not disappointed. Particularly the clip that shows Kate and Lanie in the detective's apartment. See, Mr. Marlowe, that is an awesome use of Tamala Jones' screen time and it gives Lanie something else to do. I loved everything about that clip and I really, really hope someone is taking notes and will make »

Our Mad Men Season 5 Dream Guest Stars: KStew, Coco And More!

23 March 2012 10:13 AM, PDT | TheFabLife - Movies | See recent TheFabLife - Movies news »

The return of Mad Men is so close we can smell it, and it smells like Lucky Strikes and Canadian Club. The record busting series has made its stars Jon Hamm, January Jones, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss the hottest names in television. But the show also features some already-familiar faces. Community‘s Alison Brie has a recurring role as Trudy Campbell, while former House regular Anne Dudek often appears as Betty Draper’s gossipy neighbor Francine. Tom Hanks‘ son Colin, The Nanny star Charles Shaughnessy, and even Secret World of Alex Mack actress Larisa Oleynik are among the many who’ve taken smaller roles on the series over the years.

Over the winter we heard mutterings that 1960s icon Paul McCartney would be putting in a guest appearance on the retro-show this season. Devastatingly it never happened, but we’ve put together a few suggestions for cameos that we »

Beckett gets a little more than just some investigative assistance when the handsome Scotland Yard detective Simon Hunt (guest star Brett Tucker) teams up with Castle and Beckett to find the murderer of his friend's daughter. Charles Shaughnessy also guest-stars as Nigel Winthrop, the Deputy General of the British Consulate, a man who might be up to more than ambassadorial balls and diplomatic luncheons. While all this is going on, Lanie gives Beckett some advice about going after Castle -- before it's too late. "The Limey" airs on Monday, April 2 at 10pm on ABC. »

Castle Photos: Episode 4x20 "The Limey"

I think it is safe to say that, after the Paley Fest Castle panel, a lot of fans are really excited for the April 2 episode, titled "The Limey". I have to say that I wasn't really excited when the plot of this episode was first announced (the whole Scotland Yard guy thing), but after hearing what the cast talked about it and seeing the promotional photos, I am definitely starting to warm up to the idea.

Of course that the fact that Charles Shaughnessy is going to be in this episode on April 1 just made my excitement grow exponentially since I had a huge crush on him growing up - and also that he will forever be Mr. Sheffield in my heart. In "The Limey", a handsome detective from Scotland Yard, Simon Hunt, teams up with our favorite crime fighting duo to find the »
