Simon Cowell's mum wants him to marry his ex-girlfriend. The music mogul - who split from Terri Seymour last year after six years of dating - has been urged by 84-year-old Julie Cowell to reduce his workload and settle down with the TV presenter. Julie said: "Top of the class is Terri. She is down-to-earth and a lovely person. Terri loved Simon purely for the person he is, unlike some of the others. Though he will not turn 50 until October 7, Simon Cowell has held a lavish party to celebrate his upcoming birthday. On Saturday, October 3, the longtime judge of "American Idol" was seen holding a star-studded bash at Wrotham Park, a Palladian mansion outside of London. Radar Online claimed the celebration has cost about $2 million.
About 400 people have been invited to come to the party. Seen among the guests were Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, who were said coming to the party in hired limousines. Then, famous supermodel Kate Moss was spotted arriving at the venue wearing a sparkling outfit. Additionally, "Britain's Got Talent" judge Amanda Holden was pictured coming to the birthday celebration donning a sexy white dress. Moreover, Terri Seymour, who has been serving as correspondent on entertainment news program entitled "Extra", and British TV presenter Claudia Winkleman were also in attendance.

Three days prior to the theatrical release of "Love Happens", Universal Pictures presented the world premiere of the romantic drama. The red carpet event took place at Mann's Village Theatre in
Westwood, Los Angeles on Tuesday evening, September 15, and was highlighted with the arrival of celebrities.
Leading actors, Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Aniston, were present. Bringing in the Hollywood glamor to the red carpet, the two dressed to impress. Eckhart donned black tie suit, while his on-screen lover Aniston wore silver mini dress. They were joined by other cast members, Dan Fogler, John Carroll Lynch, Anne Marie DeLuise, Sasha Alexander, Panou and Tyler McClendon.
The cast were not the only representative from the movie on the special night. Director/co-writer Brandon Camp, co-screenwriter Mike Thompson, producer Scott Stuber and composer Christopher Young were also spotted attending the premiere. Simon Cowell will come face-to-face with 17 ex-girlfriends at his surprise 50th birthday party. The "X Factor" judge will see his former lovers at a lavish bash in west London this weekend - hosted by his ex-girlfriend Jackie St Claire - to celebrate the landmark birthday, even though Simon doesn't turn 50 until October 7.
A friend told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "The champagne will be flowing and judging by the guest list, Simon will need it. Incredibly, 17 of his ex-girlfriends, dates and former flings will be there. For most men this would be an utter nightmare, but if anyone can pull it off, Simon can."

Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour is pleading with her former beau to cut back on his workload - insisting he is too old to maintain his hectic schedule.
The music mogul, who turns 50 this year, has reportedly been offered $143.6 million (£87.6million) to continue his role as a judge on American Idol once his contract runs out next May.
But Cowell's TV host ex fears the star won't have time to enjoy his riches - because he's too busy striving after big bucks to have a social life.
And the beauty believes her former lover - who fronts Idol, as well as U.K. shows X Factor and Britain's Got Talent - will have to give up some of his work commitments in the near future.
She says, "I think all his work is tiring Simon out and he's finding it hard. He'd hate me saying this but he's not as young as he used to be.
"He's got such a tough schedule and at some point one of the shows will have to give. We'll just have to wait and see which one."
This year alone Cowell has started filming X Factor auditions - straight after completing Britain's Got Talent, and a recent season of American Idol. »
