CBC, a public Canadian TV network, has announced on its shopping web site that the second season of its hit TV series Being Erica will be released on DVD in Canada on September 14.
This show, which is broadcasted in the USA and many European countries, follows Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), a thirty-two-year-old woman from Toronto. In the second season, Erica works as a junior editor for a publisher and she seems to be in seventh heaven with her boyfriend (Tyron Leitso). Moreover, thanks to her therapy with Dr. Tom (Michael Riley), a therapist who sends her back in time (or in her possible future) to fix her regrets, Erica has gained more confidence in her judgement. However, she has to deal with her sister Samantha (Joanna Douglas) heading towards a divorce and Kai (Sebastian Pigott), a mysterious man she befriends.
