Interstellar” drew the most wins at the 41st annual Saturn Awards, taking six awards including top science fiction film. But “Guardians of the Galaxy” also had a big night, picking up awards for top comicbook film, best director and best actor for Chris Pratt.

Jonathan Nolan accepted the screenwriting honor for “Interstellar.” He quipped: ” ‘Interstellar’ is the story of a man who goes on an arduous journey, comes back 100 years later to find that nobody remembers him or gives a f–k about what he was doing. It’s a pretty good metaphor for writing a studio film.”

“Guardians” director James Gunn accepted for Pratt, then was recalled to the podium twice more in quick succession to accept his own kudos and the top honor for the film. Gunn eschewed the “cocktail attire” dress code for a black sweatshirt emblazoned with a kitten. Gunn read a message from Pratt: “James Gunn is the future.

'Falcon Crest' reboot in the works, according to former stars

With the success of TNT's reboot of "Dallas," it appears those involved with other '80s primetime soaps are looking to get in on the trend.

TV Guide reports that several stars of CBS' 1981-1990 series "Falcon Crest" have been approached by one of the original series' writers to gauge their interest in a reboot.

Original star William Moses, who portrayed Cole Bioberti, says, "There's not much I can say, for reasons that go beyond myself. Warner Bros. owns the rights and so it's a discussion between them and the writers. There is a pitch and an idea germinating that has some traction. The producers contacted me to ask if I'd be interested, and I said yes. Where is goes on the producing side, I don't know."

Susan Sullivan, who played Moses' mom Maggie before moving to such series as "Dharma and Greg" and "Castle," says that, though her character was killed on the series,

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 Review: A Fan’s Delight

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

This is the animated movie adaptation of Frank Miller’s legendary comic book, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. The book was originally four issues which can be broken down roughly as Batman fights 1) Two-Face, 2) Mutant Leader, 3) Joker, and 4) Superman – in Part 1 we get 1) and 2) though it isn’t just fighting as we see Bruce’s journey back to being the Dark Knight after a 10 year break. It is an incredibly faithful version of Miller’s story, often praised as the greatest Batman story ever told, and it’s because of this faithfulness to the original book that it’s impossible to talk about this film without comparing the two. It’s strict adherence to the book might be the reason why the film was released in 2 parts so as not to leave anything out without making it an over-long watch (though, yes, I do know it

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Part 2 Blu-ray Review

This is the Batman movie I've waited a lifetime for.

The rest of the world can continue praising the animated series from the 90s until they turn blue in the face if they want to, but Warner Premiere's Batman: The Dark Knight Returns - Part 2 is the best on-screen adaptation of the Caped Crusader I've ever seen, outside of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.

The Dark Knight Returns - Part 2 picks up a few months after the events of Part 1, with Gotham City and the rest of the world still coming to grips with the return of the Batman after a 10-year absence. Batman's return has given birth to a gang of vicious vigilantes calling themselves the Sons of Batman, but it's also awakened something far worse.

The reemergence of Batman (Peter Weller) has brought the Joker (voiced brilliantly by Lost's Michael Emerson) out of a decade-long catatonic state,

In the meantime, Superman has been dispatched by the President to halt Batman’s unsanctioned reign by whatever means necessary. Between the Joker’s diabolical scheme to drag Batman to the darkest levels of insanity, and the Man of Steel’s seemingly invincible physical presence, the Dark Knight must confront adversaries and allies simultaneously while maintaining the peace in Gotham City.
