ABC cancelled Happy Endings in 2013 after three seasons, but the cast and crew reunited over the weekend at EW's Popfest to perform a table read of a new episode, written by creator David Caspe. Watch a clip, after the jump. Casey Wilson (Penny), Adam Pally (Max), Eliza Coupe (Jane), Damon Wayans Jr. (Brad), Elisha Cuthbert (Alex), and Zachary Knighton (Dave) — reunited with Caspe and the Happy Endings' writers and producers.Happy Endings, episode 4.01 "Happy to Be Here," was written and performed in honor of late script supervisor, Tracy Scott. It’s not a fourth season, Happy Endings fans… but it was pretty ah-mah-zing just the same.

The cast of ABC’s cancelled-too-soon sitcom reunited at Entertainment Weekly‘s EW PopFest in L.A. on Saturday, and they weren’t just there to reminisce. The actors did a live table read of a brand-new “lost episode” of the show, penned by creator David Caspe and the original writing staff. (The show still isn’t coming back, so this live read was the only way to enjoy this last slice of Happy Endings.)

Happy Endings, Wilfred: Script Supervisor Tracy Scott Dies at 46

TV series and feature film script supervisor, Tracy Scott, is dead at the age of 46. Earlier today, Annapurna Pictures' Megan Ellison announced Ms. Scott died of cancer. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the death with her brother Michael. Reportedly, Scott was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She more recently developed liver cancer.

Scott worked on TV series including Happy Endings, Wilfred, True Blood, Sons of Anarchy, and Standoff. She also served as script supervisor on the Veronica Mars movie sequel to the series, starring Kristen Bell.

Script supervisor Tracy Scott, who worked for producer Megan Ellison on “American Hustle,” “Her,” “Foxcatcher” and “Joy,” died of cancer Saturday in Florida. She was 46.

Ellison called Scott “a stunning soul and talent” in a tweet on Monday.

“Rest in peace Tracy Scott. A stunning soul and talent, my prayers are with her family & loved ones. You are missed,” she wrote.

Scott served as a script supervisor on dozens of films, including “Whiplash,” “Veronica Mars,” “The Gambler,” “Black Mass,” “Concussion,” “Garden State,” “The Proposal” and “Up in the Air.” She also worked on the TV series “Deadwood,” “Sons of Anarchy,” “True Blood,” “Wilfred” and “Happy Endings.”

Scott was a native of Charleston, S.C.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. »
