Smallville Season 9 Episode 4: Echo - A Glimmer of Life Left in Smallville

11 October 2009 12:07 PM, PDT | BuzzFocus.com | See recent BuzzFocus.com news »

Admittedly, I am one of the many "Smallville" fans who have turned away from watching the antics and melodrama surrounding Clark Kent (Tom Welling). Season 5 was the high point. Then Season 6 presented a slight peak during episode 11, “Justice,” following the united Justice League. But, then the show went straight downhill. Maybe, the death of Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) was too much for me. No Smallville fan will ever forget January 26, 2006 – when Pa Kent died. However, like Clark, I tarried on. 90210 2.05 "Environmental Hazards" Recap

7 October 2009 10:20 AM, PDT | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Naomi and the Great Environmentalist Plot

After Naomi gets devastating news that her grades, Sat scores, well…practically everything will not be enough to get her into California University, the school of her choice, she takes drastic measures…and wears sweats.

Yikes! But seriously, Naomi concocts an elaborate scheme to win over the dean of admissions by ‘dating’ the dean’s son, Richard (guest star Jonathon Trent), who is a Sat tutor. The plan also means that Naomi will have to play into Richard’s lifestyle, which is extreme environmentalism, »

Interview with Liz Vassey

7 September 2009 9:31 PM, PDT | AfterEllen.com | See recent AfterEllen.com news »

Liz Vassey won a Daytime Emmy at the tender age of 18, thus throwing her already busy acting career into overdrive. With gigs ranging from Beverly Hills 90210 to Tru Calling, the stunning brunette cites a brief cameo on Joss Whedon's internet musical, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog as one of her most cherished roles.

These days, when Vassey isn't peering at DNA patterns as Wendy, the forensic technician on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, she's hoping for a return to musical theater and touting her ta-ta's for a very good cause.

AfterEllen: How are things on CSI? What's in store for Wendy Simms this season?

Liz Vassey: I don't really know, but I'd love for her to go out in the field more. In one episode, I went out in the field for the first time with Laurence Fishburne. He's just fantastic and could not be nicer. And I got to swab John Schneider, »
