31 December 2010 4:00 AM, PST | HeyUGuys.co.uk | See recent HeyUGuys news »

This month has been one of the best that I can remember for trailers. All the studios were desperate for their trailer to get released before the Christmas holidays and we were inundated with posts. Since I love trailers so much, the inundation was most welcome. In what I am considering making a monthly post, here’s a roundup of all the trailers so far for December which I have embedded below for your viewing pleasure!

I’ve embedded them in the order in which they were released start December 1st to 31st and if I miss any, please let me know and I’ll update the post.

I really want this to be intereactive so make sure you tell us which trailers you liked the best and which you think will be great or terrible movies from what you’ve seen! So, let’s go!

‘Kill the Irishman’ Trailer

10 December 2010 3:48 PM, PST | Slash Film | See recent Slash Film news »

Jonathan Hensleigh made a career writing films and then directed Thomas Jane in The Punisher (2004). Now he's done a feature with another Punisher actor: Ray Stevenson. Kill the Irishman adapts Rick Porrello's book To Kill the Irishman: The War That Crippled the Mafia. It stars Mr. Stevenson and his wig as the Irishman of the title, who starts out working for the mob and then feels the mob's wrath when he strikes out on his own. Watch the trailer after the break. I can't help but think of similar period gangster movies like Donnie Brasco and American Gangster when I see this trailer. (Not so much Goodfellas, despite the mobbed-up cast.) I like Ray Stevenson quite a lot, and it's nice to see Christopher Walken taking things seriously for a minute. Take away the very out of place song from the middle of this trailer and it might »

Clint Eastwood may direct J. Edgar Hoover biopic.

Clint Eastwood is apparently considering directing a biopic about FBI director J. Edgar Hoover. Dustin Lance Black ("Milk") writes. Brian Grazer and Ron Howard are producing via their Imagine Entertainment. Universal has put the project which was penned a year ago, into turnaround. It is probable that this will end up at Warner Bros. where Eastwood has produced thirty five films via his Malpaso company. Hoover, who was appointed director of the Bureau of Investigation in 1924, was named head of the FBI when it was founded eleven years after that. He was director up until his death in 1972. Eastwood is currently in post-production phase for Warner Bros. Pictures' "Hereafter" with Matt Damon, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jay Mohr, Cécile De France and Steve Schirripa.
