USA Orders 2 New Medical Dramas, Sets Final Season of ‘White Collar’

21 March 2014 12:30 PM, PDT | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

USA Network has given series greenlights to two new medical dramas, “Rush” and “Complications,” and set a six-episode final season for “White Collar.”

The 10-episode pickups come on the heels of USA’s order last month for an untitled drama from writer Sean Jablonski to star Matt Passmore. USA will have a roster of 12 new and returning original returning series on its air this year. The drama boom is complemented by the cabler’s dive into original comedies.

“We are excited to usher in the next generation of USA dramas, alongside our signature returning originals that continue to attract a large and loyal fan base,” said USA prexy Chris McCumber. “This year USA will be showcasing more hours of original programming than ever before, including an unprecedented six new series and six returning shows.”
