The distributor has acquired North American rights to Jean-Luc Godard’s 3D Goodbye To Language following its recent Cannes premiere.

The film tied with Mommy for the jury prize on the Croisette and will open in New York in late October followed by national roll-out on 3D screens before ancillary platforms in 2015.

Alain Sarde produced the film and Kino Lorber CEO Richard Lorber brokered the deal with head of international sales Carole Baraton of Wild Bunch.

Goodbye To Language charts the breakdown of a relationship and assumes the Pov of a dog.

Indiepix has acquired world rights to Elig Refig’s Turkish film Ships (Ferahfeza) starring Ugur Uzunel and M Sitare Akbas as strangers who embark upon a quixotic quest through Turkey’s port cities. Indiepix plans a limited theatrical release this year and will distribute internationally through its channels. »
