José Saramago was born on November 16, 1922 in Azinhaga, Golega, Portugal as José de Sousa Saramago. He was a writer and actor, known for Enemy (2013), Blindness (2008) and The Stone Raft (2002). He was married to Pilar del Río and Ilda Reis. He died on June 18, 2010 in Lanzarote, Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain. See full bio »
