Ash and his tight-knit band of survivors are all set, the villain – Baal, a powerful new antagonist portrayed by Sons of Anarchy‘s Joel Tobeck – is a lock and today, Starz has premiered the first poster for Ash Vs. Evil Dead season that finds Bruce Campbell’s one-armed hero saluting the Stars and Stripes in the face of undead chaos.

Preparing to tackle the Deadite resurgence head on for another 10 episodes in October, Campbell’s wise-cracking lead will be headed to Elk Grove. Ash and the gang salute the American flag in a brand new official poster for the second season of Ash vs Evil Dead, the hit Starz series set in the Evil Dead universe. Plastered at the very top of the one-sheet is the tagline “Glory, Gory, Hallelujah!” which, in addition to being an homage to “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” is a suitable three word summary of the show in general. See it here…

Highlighted on the poster are stars Bruce Campbell (Ash Williams), Lucy Lawless (Ruby Knowby), Ray Santiago (Pablo Simon Bolivar) and Dana DeLorenzo (Kelly Maxwell), who all the survived the chaotic events of season 1.

While not for the faint of heart, the series was warmly received by both critics and longtime Evil Dead fans when it premiered last year, possibly due to the fact that the same team behind the Evil Dead films, Campbell, Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, »

Bluray Review – Ash Vs. Evil Dead: The Complete First Season

23 August 2016 11:19 AM, PDT | iconsoffright.com | See recent Icons of Fright news »

When news of an Evil Dead TV shows hit the internet, for the most part, fans were pretty excited. While the Fede Alvarez-helmed 2013 remake of the fan favorite Sam Raimi film had its share of the over the top blood and guts that made the original films so entertaining, it lacked the series’ wise-cracking protagonist, Ash, played with cocky charm by Bruce Campbell. Fans wanting to see more of Campbell in action instead of a new approach was heard loud and clear, and suddenly Ash Vs. Evil Dead was born.  Again, while fans were excited and anxious, the best of the film series was when it wasn’t held back, with gallons and gallons of blood and carnage flying all across the screen (and all over Campbell), so how would a TV show be up to that challenge? Would it be a watered down version of the character and »

Comic-Con 2016 Impressions: Ash Vs Evil Dead Season 2 Premiere is an Absurdly Fun Return for Bruce Campbell and His Cohorts

1 August 2016 4:09 PM, PDT | DailyDead | See recent DailyDead news »

When it was first announced, I wasn’t wholly sure how Ash vs Evil Dead was going to work as an episodic series, but by the end of the first season, I was all in for whatever Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) and his trusty team of Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) had in store for me as a fan. As it went on, I enjoyed how the series managed to flesh out Ash as an anti-hero, but also made his cohorts just as integral to the overall Evil Dead story as well, giving us a few new favorite supporting characters to follow week in and week out.

Thankfully, all of that carries over into the season two premiere episode of Ash vs Evil Dead, which takes the Deadites’ mythology in a much more personal direction for our titular warrior, while also amping up the series’ signature blood and »

Bruce Campbell doesn’t do anything half-assed, so it should come as no surprise he’s promising big things for “Ash vs. Evil Dead” Season 2.

Fans learned at Comic-Con that the legal rights prohibiting the Starz horror-comedy hybrid from referencing “Army of Darkness” have been resolved, which means there will be plenty of treats for die-hard Ash fans in Season 2.

Campbell implied as much when he took to stage at Starz’s Television Critics Association presentation Monday morning. 29 July 2016 3:02 PM, PDT | DailyDead | See recent DailyDead news »

During the recent Ash vs Evil Dead press event held during last weekend’s 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, Daily Dead sat down to chat with returning co-stars Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago, as well as the iconic Lee Majors, who joins the series in Season 2 as Brock Williams, Ash’s estranged father. The trio discussed how their characters fit into the second season’s storylines, dealing with even more blood during this time around on Ash vs Evil Dead, and their experiences working alongside co-stars Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless.

Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2 premieres this October exclusively on the Starz Network.

So, Ash kind of saved the day, but at the same time, things got pretty screwed up by the end of Season 1, so things didn’t wrap up so perfectly. How do we see your characters respond to the events of the finale in Season 2?
