She acted in Neil Simon's play, "The Prisoner of Second Avenue," in a Classic Contemporary American Plays production at The Alex Theatre and Century City Playhouse in Los Angeles, California with Bonnie Franklin, Bruce Weitz, Steve Landesberg, Marsha Kramer, and Barbara Deutsch in the cast. Jenny Sullivan was director.

Beverly starred in the show in the late '90's, and it details her inability to conceive a baby at 40+ years of age, and the later frustrations she went through during the adoption process of her daughter (who's named Laura).
