Maxine Samuels was born in 1922 as Maxine Thelma Samuels. She was a producer and actress, known for The Forest Rangers (1963), Seaway (1965) and The Pyx (1973). She was married to Moe Leiter, Robert Laferme, William Rosseguier and Michael Sadlier. She died on March 19, 2001 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. See full bio »

In 1972, she and the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) parted ways after she had celebrity prostitute Xaviera Hollander, aka The Happy Hooker, as a guest on her show "All About Women." Although the show was taped, it never aired.
