Was knocked unconscious by an enraged audience member at the Montreal Comedy Festival after he opened his set with "Hello moose-fuckers" and then proceeded to say "I'll tell you why I hate Canada - half of you speak French and the other half let them!"

His BBC show, "The Pall Bearer's Revue" (1992), attracted a record number of complaints from viewers and was subsequently moved to a graveyard time-slot in the schedule. The BBC has stated that this show will never be re-aired or released on video/DVD.
