She worked with Harold Ramis in Second City and in the film Caddyshack, and is where Ramis got the last name for the obnoxious character Ned Ryerson - the insurance salesman who keeps bugging Bill Murray on the streetcorner - in Ramis' film Groundhog Day.
She was nominated for a 1976 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Principal Role for her performance in "East of Edens" at the Second City Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
