Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have signed on to reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga for the Boy Meets World sequel project, Girl Meets World.

The Girl Meets World pilot is still in the early stages of development but will revolve around 13-year-old Riley Matthews, the young daughter of Cory and Topanga, who's going through many of the same challenges as her parents did when they were students. Cory is now a teacher, ala Mister Feeny from the original show.

Boy Meets World creator Michael Jacobs is behind the new project and some of the original show's castmembers are looking forward to seeing how it develops.

William Russ, who played Cory's dad, said, "I'm very excited for Disney and Michael Jacobs... They are a great team and will produce an exceptional show, I have no doubt." »

Collider is happy to bring you the first exclusive images from Magic Hour, the indie crime drama from writer/director Cole Mueller (Green Guys).  The story follows a young man and his association with a Venice Beach crime family.  Magic Hour is said to be in the vein of Francis Ford Coppola's The Outsiders and Rumble Fish, two films that feature teenage gang warfare and sport a cult following.  Mueller's film stars C. Thomas Howell (The Amazing Spider-Man), himself an alumnus of Coppola's The OutsidersMagic Hour also stars William Russ (Boy Meets World), Kris Lemche (Final Destination) and Will Wallace (The Tree of Life).  Hit the jump to check out the first exclusive images. Mueller emphasized the feeling of nostalgia in Magic Hour, a period piece set in 1990.  He mentions references to the original" Nintendo system, clap-on lights, VHS camcorders, New Kids on the Block, early 90's neon" just to name a few. »

NCIS Review: A Bounce in His Step

21 March 2012 4:20 AM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

This week's NCIS episode saw the much-anticipated return of Jamie Lee Curtis' Dr. Samantha Ryan, not as an adversary but as a partner - in and away from the field - for Gibbs this time.

The joint NCIS and PsyOps operation was compelling from the start, and even though things dragged toward the end and meandered into less interesting territory, it was enjoyable overall.

It was clear the show wasn't reprising the time-honored assassination attempt on the Secretary of the Navy when it happened with Gibbs standing right there And he didn't catch the shooter.

Instead, it was all a mole hunt for one man's "tell" and the secrets it could reveal.

While extremely elaborate - that a government agency would go that far to root out the leak of classified information seems a bit dubious - it was an appropriate vehicle to reunite Gibbs and Ryan.

And reunite they did. »

Tony Plana Latest for ‘Pain and Gain’; C. Thomas Howell Enters ‘Magic Hour’; Michael Winterbottom Adds Three to Latest

12 March 2012 8:34 PM, PDT | The Film Stage | See recent The Film Stage news »

Production on Pain and Gain should get underway just about any day now, so I’ll bet this casting from Variety is one of the last Michael Bay‘s movie ever gets. (Unless he decides to take a dive in that modeling pool.) With this late-in-the-game addition, we’re hearing that Tony Plana (Ugly Betty, Lone Star) is coming aboard in the role of “Capt. Al Lopez of the Miami Police Dept., who begins to look into the kidnapping of Marc Schiller (Tony Shalhoub) at the urging of his old friend, private detective Ed Du Bois (Ed Harris).” It’s safe to assume you already know this, but — for the sake of consistency — the kidnappers in question are played by Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, and Anthony Mackie.

Also coming from Variety is the news that Soul Man himself, C. Thomas Howell, will follow The Amazing Spider-Man with an indie crime »

Tonight on Criminal Minds: Keeping it in the Family (Sneak Peek)

Family is a key aspect on Criminal Minds; whether it is the work family such as the Bau team, the actual families of this team or the many families they come into contact with through the crimes that are committed. Tonight we will see both the good and bad of what a family will do for each other and we will get to see Hotch (Thomas Gibson) getting the support of his colleagues, his new love interest Beth (Bellamy Young), and his son as he takes part in the FBI triathlon.

The case has the team investigating the deaths of women in Atlanta and it becomes apparent that they are looking for more than one unsub. As you can see from the promo below, it is a family that is behind these murders though it isn't really clear why they are doing so. »
