Dark-haired American character actress, known for comedic as well as dramatic work seen on film and TV, best remembered as the object of Holly Hunter's wrath in the black comedy The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom (1993).
Co-wrote and performed with her actor/playwright husband, Leon Martell, in their play "1961 Eldorado".
A Los Angeles-based stage actress as well, she has won the L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award, three L.A. Weekly Awards, five Drama-Logue Awards, and an Ovation nomination.
