Dennis, meanwhile, will portray Tilda Johnson (a.k.a. Nightshade/Nighthawk), “a brilliant, holistic doctor with a complicated history in Harlem where, as much as she tries to stay far from trouble, it seems to always find her.”

Marvel’s Private Eye Swings By Chikara Dojo In Another Pair Of Motion Posters For The Defenders

Marvel and Netflix’s promotional blitz for The Defenders continues to motor along at a brisk clip, and over the weekend the show’s official Twitter account unveiled not one, but two neon-drenched motion posters featuring Chikara Dojo and Harlem’s Paradise.

The former is, of course, a martial-arts school located in NYC, one in which Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) educates budding fighters on the deft art of hand-to-hand combat. It’s seemingly piqued the curiosity of Jessica Jones, as down below you’ll find Krysten Ritter’s private eye scoping out the scene. On the other hand, the second motion poster places Danny Rand (Aka the Iron Fist) outside Harlem’s Paradise, and it seems Finn Jones’ billionaire didn’t make the guest list.

Harlem’s Paradise proved to be a fixture of Luke Cage‘s inaugural season. Formerly owned by Cottonmouth, the ensuing death of Mahershala Ali’s

Review: ‘Lowriders’ is an Affecting Drama Set in an Automobile Subculture

Long before Dominic Toretto and his crew became globe-trotting superheroes, they might have been the neighbors of the Alvarez family, known as “low-riders” who restore gorgeous American muscle cars, including the star of their garage: father Miguel’s gorgeous 69’ Chevy Impala named Green Poison. Not unlike the Fast & Furious saga, family is at the center of Lowriders, a drama of surprisingly grounded insight from director Ricardo de Montreuil.

The story follows the coming of age of Danny (Gabriel Chavarria), a young Mexican-American teen who’d rather paint street art than murals on his father Miguel’s (Demián Bichir) lowriders. Miguel and his sons rarely see eye to eye, and complicating matters is the return of brother Francisco, aka Ghost (Theo Rossi), fresh out of jail for grand theft auto. Competing in his father’s footsteps, he steals cars to build his own dream Impala.

Box Office: ‘Guardians 2’ Repeats No. 1, ‘King Arthur’ Is Summer’s First Big Flop

Box Office: ‘Guardians 2’ Repeats No. 1, ‘King Arthur’ Is Summer’s First Big Flop
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continued its box office reign this weekend, while “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword” is the summer season’s first major flop.

Disney and Marvel’s super hero sequel followed up its $145 million opening weekend domestically with an additional $63 million from 4,347 locations. That’s a 57% drop, which is in line with expectations, and stronger than some other Marvel Cinematic Universe sequels, including “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Captain America: Civil War.” The film’s domestic total is now just shy of $250 million.

“King Arthur,” meanwhile, may just want to put that sword back where he found it and pretend this never happened. The release from Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow made only $14.7 million from 3,702 locations — a paltry sum considering its $175 million production budget.
