Rachel Rosenthal was born on November 9, 1926 in Paris, France. She was an actress, known for Games (1967), Combat! (1962) and The New Age (1994). She was married to King Moody. She died on May 10, 2015 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Moved from New York to Los Angeles in 1955 and began the experimental "Instant Theatre".
Known by numerous children of the 1960s as "Rachel, the Story Lady" in her "Instant Fairy Tales" children's shows at the Horseshoe Stage Theatre in Hollywood.
She was a pioneering performance artist. She was a familiar figure in the Los Angeles arts scene, especially in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. She performed at a variety of venues, including the Museum of Contemporary Art.
She started out as a dancer and joined an avant-garde crowd in the 1950s.
