Marko Zaror Joins From Dusk Till Dawn

28 April 2016 10:00 AM, PDT | Twitch | See recent Twitch news »

It would appear that From Dusk Till Dawn series creator Robert Rodriguez and Chilean martial artist Marko Zaror have got a little bromance going on and, really, who can blame them? After first using Zaror for a key supporting part in Machete Kills Rodriguez quickly brought him back to fight Michelle Rodriguez in a music video he directed for Demi Lovato and now Twitch has learned that Zaror has joined the cast From Dusk Till Dawn for the upcoming third season. While we don't really know anything about overall storyline what we do know is that Zaror's character is an Aztec jaguar warrior and that it will be a recurring part. So we can safely assume that there will be many asses kicked in the...

Fresh intel has surfaced from the ongoing production of Fast 8, the latest installment in Universal’s seemingly evergreen juggernaut that is now filming in Cuba.

It marks a radical change of location for the Toretto crew, who were last seen housed up in the Icelandic town of Akranes, and the franchise’s official Twitter account posted a brief message from the South American set. Featuring director F. Gary Gray flanked by a group of what we assume to be female extras – some things never change – you can view the video below.

No one thought it could be done. But Dom Toretto is officially back in his homeland! Fast and Furious 8 is making history this week, as the first American production to ever shoot in Cuba. This particular part of the shoot has been teased for awhile now, as director F. Gary Grey and star Vin Diesel accomplished a major coup with this latest sequel. Here's what Vin Diesel had to say on the official Fast 8 Instagram as production starts on this latest addition to the popular action franchise.

"Right now I'm with my director F. Gary Grey. We worked together maybe 17 years ago. And we're in a place that nobody ever thought would be possible. We are in Havana, Cuba. F. Gary Gray's Fast 8 is going to be visiting a number of locales. Two of those are near and dear to me: New York (my home) and Cuba, where the maternal half of my family comes from. Pretty cool.

The production is currently Cuba, and are celebrating their arrival on the island nation with this video that includes Gray and a bevy of Cuban ladies. Here it is:

Now that Universal’s street-racing sequel Fast 8 is less than a year out from release, we’re starting to see more and more set photos surface online as production intensifies.

In keeping with the global scope of its predecessors, F. Gary Gray’s follow-up has set up shop in a variety of locations – chief among them being Cuba and the remote Icelandic town of Akranes – and new set photos cast light on that ongoing production. Indeed, as previous reports had suggested, Fast 8 is set to stage the biggest action sequence in Iceland’s history, and judging by the cavalcade of cars, tanks and filming equipment glimpsed in today’s snaps, we don’t doubt that potential record-breaker for a second.

Vin Diesel Shares Poignant Fast 8 Poster

20 April 2016 7:29 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

If Universal is aligning Fast & Furious 8, 9 and 10 as a conclusive trilogy to its box office titan, then the first poster shared by Vin Diesel for next year’s Fast 8 very much reflects that mantra.

Teasing “New Roads Ahead,” the sepia-toned one-sheet isn’t unlike those posters released for past entries in the series, but there’s an added poignancy to Diesel’s post given the tragic passing of Paul Walker in 2013. Indeed Walker’s death had a major impact on the cast, crew and production of Furious 7 itself, leading to multiple reshoots to salvage a story that at once paid respect to the series stalwart, and advanced the Fast and Furious franchise in a different direction.

Having wrangled a coherent blockbuster that stormed to international success, director James Wan has called time on his all-too-brief stint in Universal’s street-racing series to work on The Conjuring 2, opening »

New 'Furious 8' Poster Unveiled by Vin Diesel

Universal Pictures has not officially confirmed the title of Fast & Furious 8. For the past few weeks, those involved with the production have been calling it Fast 8.
