In June 1987, he announced that he has raised the dead and will return after his own death to rule alongside Jesus Christ.

In March 1986, he claimed God told him that he would be "called home" (die) if he was unable to raise $8 million by 31 March 1987 to continue his ministry. After the deadline passed, he stated on 1 April that the money had been raised and his life had been spared.
