Nearly 10 months after Mariah Carey‘s disastrous New Year’s Eve performance that spurred a bitter he-said-she-said between the diva’s camp and Dick Clark Productions, longtime Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve host Ryan Seacrest remains firm that the crew wasn’t to blame.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Thursday, the 42-year-old Live with Kelly and Ryan host was asked by a caller what was going through his head during Mimi’s Nye nightmare.
Lest one forgets, Carey covered the classic “Auld Lang Syne” before launching into an awkward medley of »

Has there ever been such fierce competition? Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest stopped by Bravo's Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen Thursday to talk all things Live. Andy Cohen also happens to be a longtime friends of Ripa's, so he suggested playing a game called "The HOSTlywed Game." Cohen went head-to-head with Seacrest, answering personal questions about Ripa to determine which host knows her better. "A friendship is very deep, but a co-host-ship is like a marriage—minus the banging, unless you're Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski," Cohen joked, referring to the engaged anchors. "They're banging. So, who knows Kelly best? Her partner in show time or her partner in »
When a fan asked Seacrest about his thoughts on Mariah Carey’s much talked-about Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performance last December, Seacrest wasn’t afraid to get candid.
“What was going through my head was and is -- that crew that team that staff is the best in the business. They put on the biggest live music events and they know what they’re doing. And I know how good they are at their jobs. So my reaction was -- she was working with the best,” he said of the pop diva. “I find it hard to believe they made big mistakes that night.”

Megyn Kelly is best known as the hard-edged news anchor who wasn’t afraid to push back on conservative orthodoxy at Fox News Channel. Her new employer, NBC Universal, is trying to trot out a softer side.
As NBC prepares to launch a new morning show led by the much-scrutinized Kelly, it has unleashed a promotional salvo that speaks less about her news chops and instead tries to unveil other facets of her personality. One recent promo shows Kelly shaking hands with people in a supermarket and at a baseball stadium, and suggests her program, “Megyn Kelly Today,” is “not about us versus them. It’s about us for everyone.” She’s sharing space on an NBCU billboard in Times Square that depicts her offering up a hot cup of coffee. In a video posted on her new show’s Twitter feed, she reveals a fondness for “Overboard,” the 1987 comedy featuring Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn.

“I just had a dust up with one of your producers,” the actor, 49, told the hosts, jokingly annoyed. “I don’t think it’s fair or appropriate that your producers get to take all of the dogs that came from Houston.”
The pooches in question were several canines displaced by Hurricane Harvey, who were taken in by Home for Good Dog Rescue and brought to Live to raise awareness about the numerous animals in need following the storm.

Drew and Jonathan Scott’s latest challenge pitted brother versus brother, but both came out on top!
The Hgtv stars went head-to-head to make over two dressing rooms for Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest’s Live guests. With only 48 hours to work their magic (and a super-dark and dreary starting point), the guys had to hustle to create an A-list worthy space.
But unsurprisingly, the 38-year-old twins pulled it off, thanks to their years of decorating know-how and help from New York-based designers Rory Mulholland and Jesse Turek.

There are some old adages Oprah takes very seriously.
“I’ve done many interviews with people who had to lose what they had in order to value what they still have,” she tells Veranda in their September/October 30th Anniversary issue. “Sometimes I stand under the arbor, close my eyes, and allow myself to take in as much as I can: I hear birds splashing in the fountain and literally smell the roses. This garden makes me present.”
