Tony Richardson was born on June 5, 1928 in Shipley, Yorkshire, England as Cecil Antonio Richardson. He was a director and producer, known for Tom Jones (1963), A Taste of Honey (1961) and The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner (1962). He was married to Vanessa Redgrave.
