ABC has not yet announced if it will cancel or renew the Notorious TV show for a second season, but we want to know what you want them to do. Back in October, the alphabet network cut the Notorious season one order from 13 episodes to ten. Still, as previously reported, there is still a (slim) chance for the drama. ABC is paying to keep the Notorious sets, rather than striking them.Starring Daniel Sunjata and Piper Perabo, Notorious follows the symbiotic relationship between a charismatic defense attorney and a powerhouse TV producer, as they attempt to control the media, the justice system, and each other. With a week left until Election Day, the PSAs reminding people to vote continue to roll in. Joss Whedon has released a new video from his Save the Day series titled “Leonard.”
Starring Chris Pine, the actor stars as Leonard, “the human embodiment of today’s United States Congress – he’s dysfunctional, inappropriate, and if he was your employee, you’d fire him,” states the video’s description.
“I will say at first, that we had such high hopes for Leonard,” says Alan Tudyk’s character in the clip. “But then right away, there were…issues.”
The clip shows Leonard being disruptive, childish and overall an inconvenience to the company. He’s also seen chasing a female employee yelling, “I’m the boss of you! I’m the boss of your whole body! »

A week before America goes to the polls, Joss Whedon would like to remind us that there’s strength in numbers.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator’s election-related PSA, released Tuesday, tells the tale of “Leonard,” a terrible blowhard of a businessman — played by Star Trek‘s Chris Pine — whose bratty, entitled behavior and insistence on controlling everything makes life unendurable for his beleaguered office mates.
ABC has cut the Notorious TV show's production order from 13 episodes to 10. Deadline reports this is not an "outright cancellation," since the Alphabet Network plans to air all ten episodes. Maybe that seems like a good sign to hopeful fans, but it is not. Trimming the production order is the classic first step, in the peter-out approach to cancelling TV shows.Written by Josh Berman and Allie Hagan, Notorious is based on the lives of cable news producer Wendy Walker and defense attorney Mark Geragos. The legal and media drama stars Piper Perabo, Daniel Sunjata, Kate Jennings Grant, Aimee Teegarden, and J. August Richards. Walker and Geragos executive produce.Read More… »

Inspired by the real-life relationship between celebrity attorney Mark Geragos and Larry King Live producer Wendy Walker, the ABC drama purports to give audiences a behind-the-scenes look at how criminal lawyers work with the media to sway public opinion about their clients. In the case of Notorious, it’s producer/all-around “tough-ass »
As the television world exists now, one of the main pushes we see from every network is an effort to sub-brand itself as having a “kind of show.” That’s a slightly convoluted way of saying that the networks think fans of one of their shows look for a similar “feel” from the next show. If a new show were thrown at you, they want you to be able to guess who is going to air it.
With that in mind, there’s an extent to which it’s hard to blame ABC for Notorious. It had to seem like a good Shondaland fit, and it looks decent on paper. You do you ABC.
The trouble is that the world of laughable melodrama, and/or purposeful guilty pleasures that are overwrought with contrivance as a writing style, »

It’s remarkable how interchangeable “Notorious” and “Conviction” are. Hayley Atwell is in one, and Piper Perabo leads the other, but you’d be forgiven for confusing the lesser details, like which one is a take on Larry King or has a presidential campaign subplot. Both are steamy procedurals that combine legal thriller with media circus, playing up high-profile clients, sensational crimes, and the sexy people involved. Both are led by beautiful white women, making the most of their business formal wardrobes in expensive high heels and blazers. Both women have smoldering sexual tension with a man — the second-billed actor — that crosses both personal and professional boundaries, while also throwing off sexual tension that tries very hard to light the screen on fire (and occasionally succeeds).
And, most importantly, both read as messy, incomplete dramas that appear to be blatant attempts to rework the “Scandal” template with a few different bells and whistles. The »
