In early May, two of the world's biggest fandoms - the BTS Army and Taylor Swift's Swifties - were debating whether or not their fave was the subject of a highly anticipated celebrity memoir with an initial print run of one million copies that was shrouded in mystery by its US publisher, Flatiron Books. The buzz around the book, which appeared on Macmillan's website with the title "4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023," was so intense that it hit the Top 10 on the Amazon bestsellers list without having even officially been announced.
The mystery surrounding the subject of the book ended on May 11, with the New York Times announcing it is a BTS book. The memoir, titled "Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS," is being released to celebrate BTS's 10th anniversary as a group. It'll be a particularly meaningful release for fans, as the group is currently on a...

Turns out that book Taylor Swift fans turned into a misguided best-seller would’ve been a hit anyway; it’s about BTS.
After Flatiron Books announced that an unnamed celebrity would be releasing a “blockbuster” memoir in July, hopeful Swifties came out in droves to pre-order the book, making it the No. 1 best-seller on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Now, however, The New York Times reports that 4C Untitled Flatiron Nonfiction Summer 2023 is actually Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS, an oral history of the K-pop group written by journalist Myeongseok Kang.
The book drops on July 9th, an important day in BTS history. Their fan base, the Army, was founded on the date, and July 9th, 2023 marks the Army’s 10th anniversary. The US edition of the book, translated by Anton Hur in collaboration with Clare Richards and Slin Jung, clocks in at 544 pages and features exclusive photographs of the band.

Sky is to debut an ambitious family documentary project – nearly four years after kicking off filming.
Sky Atlantic is to air This Is Our Family, a four-part series telling the stories of four families across the UK, in January 2020. The Comcast-owned broadcaster originally commissioned the series in early 2016 from producer Little Gem and has been filming ever since.
Directors Clare Richards (Acid Attack: My Story) Will Yapp (The Real Full Monty) Marcus Plowright (The Murder of Jill Dando) and Ellena Wood (Louis Theroux: Talking to Anorexia) have been filming the stories since 2016.
Richards’ film tells the story of the Borg family in Newport. Tony, father of eight and one of the UK’s top boxing coaches, is set to marry for the first time at 50. For his bride to be, Emma, excitement is tempered as she struggles to come to terms with the death of daughter 19-year-old Xana.
