As Director of Development for East 112th Street Productions, Donna-Marie is responsible for overseeing the brands creative properties and vision which includes NBC's Little Big Shots, Think Like a Man, the TV series for FOX, BET's ManCave and ABC's Celebrity Family Feud, to name a few. Her extensive background as an independent producer and former network executive at ABC for over seven years has her primed and ready to guide the Steve Harvey brand to unprecedented heights. From 2008-2015, Donna-Marie made significant creative contributions to ABC's primetime programming slate, while simultaneously introducing on- camera talent rich with diverse, multi-cultural perspective on shows such as, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Extreme Weight Loss, Shark Tank, Bet On Your Baby, True Beauty, American Music Awards and Dancing with the Stars.
Donna-Marie's executive track in television began in 2003 where she cut her teeth in scripted programming for three seasons on one of televisions most groundbreaking primetime series, The Shied, as a writers assistant under the tutelage of Shawn Ryan, Glen Mazzara, Kurt Sutter and Charles Eglee. In 2008 Donna-Marie joined ABC's Talent Development & Diversity Program under the direction of VP, Tim McNeal. There she coordinated programs designed to promote the inclusion of diverse talent for the ABC Television Group entities: ABC, Freeform (formally ABC Family) and the Disney Channel. Her responsibilities included judging director's reels, performing coverage on writer's submissions and flagging laudable talent for the network to foster and place on its programming slate. Though she found this work extremely rewarding, she found her roots were more deep-seated in the creative process so she segued over to, Alternative Series, Specials and Late Night in ABC's Entertainment Group.
Before joining ABC Donna-Marie worked as an independent producer. In 2004 she produced a TV pilot for Josh Duhamel under her own production banner, Undeniable Films, where she also produced and directed a multitude of student films when heavily pursued by the American Film Institute and Hollywood Film School fellows to produce their thesis projects. Soon after she began working with various thriving production companies such as Castle Studio as a staff writer, director and producer for their development slate and actors reels. Between 2006-2008 Donna-Marie went to work for Momentum Entertainment and Strange Fruit Films, producing some of their most trailblazing reality series including Family Reunion and Exalted!, a docu-series for BET where she also made her television directorial debut. Donna-Marie Reid is an Atlanta, GA native now residing in Los Angeles, CA.
