Any Trading Spaces aficionado will tell you the hit TLC show, which aired from 2000 to 2008, was just as much about the rotating cast of designers’ big personalities as it was about redecorating on a budget.

On Wednesday, TLC announced the lineup for the show’s forthcoming reboot after a 10-year hiatus, and almost every fan favorite from the original series is making a return. Joining host Paige Davis, who signed on in July, will be Doug Wilson, Genevieve Gorder, Hildi Santo-TomasVern Yip, Frank Bielic, and Laurie Smith. Beloved carpenters Ty Pennington and Carter Oosterhouse will also be back. »

There’s no place like home! Drake was back in his hometown of Toronto, Ontario, for the Ovo Fest and Caribana 2017.

After performing onstage, the “Signs” crooner, along with singers and rappers like The Weeknd, Migos, French Montana and Travis Scott, enjoyed bottle service at the official Ovo Fest After-Party on Aug. 7, presented by Ovo Chubbs and sponsored by Rémy Martin Cognac. Drake also managed to cool off during the hot weekend, hosting his own pool party with LeBron James.

Sundance Film Review: ‘Take Every Wave: The Life of Laird Hamilton’

Though as famous as any surfer living or dead, Laird Hamilton has never competed in that sport professionally — which he attributes to disinterest in “being judged,” but a longtime pal says is probably more because he “can’t stand losing.”

Those contrasting comments provide a rare moment of more penetrating insight in veteran documentarian Rory Kennedy’s “Take Every Wave: The Life of Laird Hamilton.” This slick, entertaining portrait won’t provide many surprises for those who’ve followed the subject’s high-profile career — as pretty much anyone interested in surfing has — but should fascinate others for whom he’s a less familiar personality. And it almost goes without saying, but footage of his often-astounding wave-riding, which now stretches back nearly five decades, is golden whether you’ve seen its like before or not.
