Joyce Redman was born on December 9, 1915 in Castle Ward, Northumberland, England as Joyce Olivia Redman. She was an actress, known for Tom Jones (1963), One of Our Aircraft Is Missing (1942) and Les Miserables (1978). She was married to Charles Ivor Wynne-Roberts. She died on May 9, 2012 in Pembury, Kent, England.

Owned a small island off the Irish mainland for a number of years, and then sold it.
Born into a Protestant Anglo-Irish family and the daughter of a British engineer, she and her 3 sisters were educated by private governesses in County Mayo.
Her niece is actress, Amanda Redman.
Graduated from an acting course, and became an Associate Member of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London.
