Founder of the charity Sponsored Arts For Education, a touring company which highlights AIDS awareness and funds African AIDS organizations. In The Constant Gardener (2005) he directed a stage play called "Huruma" about AIDS which was performed by an African theatrical troupe and watched by one of the characters in the film.
