The Hedwig and the Angry Inch revival that has graced Broadway for the last year and a half is closing next month, Variety reports. The last performance will be September 13, 3 p.m., at the Belasco Theater. "Hedwig heralded a historic year of acceptance and celebration across America." The popular musical, which centers on the story of a transsexual rock star who underwent a botched sex reassignment surgery and vies for closure, won four Tonys in 2014, including Best Revival of a Musical. The production also served as a platform for talented leading men, as Hedwig was played by the likes of Neil Patrick Harris, Andrew Rannells, Michael C. Hall, Darren Criss, and Taye Diggs. Anne Hathaway Having Robert De Niro as an Intern Is Way Cuter Than You'd Expect

3 August 2015 8:05 AM, PDT | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

The trailer for The Intern almost feels like a bizarro The Devil Wears Prada at first - this time, Anne Hathaway comes clacking in as the high-powered CEO of a fashion website, with Robert De Niro playing her new employee (the titular intern) - but Hathaway is no Miranda Priestly. And of course, De Niro is in his 70s, so this movie already has a very different comedic premise built in, but it's not just a bunch of funny old-guy jokes (though there are those). No, leave it to Nancy Meyers to give us a workplace comedy that feels fresh and modern but is also very sweet. Not only is De Niro an interesting foil to Hathaway's character, Jules, but he also starts to become her friend. It's all pretty cute, and even better is the supporting cast, which includes two Workaholics, Andrew Rannells, and Nat Wolff. The Intern comes out Sept. »

Watch: Robert De Niro Goes to Work for Anne Hathaway in ‘The Intern’ Trailer

3 August 2015 7:07 AM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Robert De Niro plays Anne Hathaway’s 70-year-old intern in the upcoming, aptly titled film “The Intern.” De Niro’s widowed character explains his unorthodox decision in the new trailer, released by Warner Bros. on Monday.

“In retirement, there’s an ongoing relentless effort in creativity,” De Niro says. “I tried yoga, learned to cook, bought some plants, took classes in Mandarin — believe me, I’ve tried everything. I just know there’s a hole in my life and I need to fill it. Soon.”

He fills it by taking an internship at an online fashion site founded by Hathaway’s character (Miranda Priestly would be proud). And of course, the resident sage intern doles out valuable advice to everyone in the office the minute he steps through the door.

Written and directed by Nancy Meyers, the comedy also stars Andrew Rannells, Adam DeVine, Nat Wolff and Reid Scott. “The Intern »
