Bhushan Kumar to team up with Vashu Bhagnani to produce Sarabjit

The furor created by the Akshay Kumar, Nimrat Kaur starrer Airlift that released recently hasn't yet died down, and the producer of the film Bhushan Kumar, who is also the head honcho of T Series, is already contemplating on his next production. In fact we hear that Bhushan will be teaming up with Vashu Bhagnani of Pooja Films to co-produce the Sarabjit biopic. Apparently, with Airlift becoming a big hit, the Indian audience has proven that it is today mature and ready for real cinema based on true stories and has strengthened T-Series' belief that films based on true stories work. Thus post Airlift, T-Series has decided to produce Sarbjit, a biopic based on the life of Dalbir Kaur, the sister of Sarbjit. Directed by Omung Kumar, Sarabjit, that is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Bhushan Kumar, and Sandeep Singh features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumar. »

Richa Chadha rehearses for Punjabi number for her upcoming film Sarbjit

Actress, Richa Chadha recently shot a fun Punjabi song for her upcoming release Sarbjit starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda. “We rehearsed for a few days before the song went on the floors. It’s choreographed by Vishnudeva,” says Richa. Richa who will be playing Sarbjit’s wife in the film expressed her happiness on playing this role, “It’s a superb character. I am working on getting the diction right.”

The actress will be reuniting with her Main Aur Charles co-star Randeep Hooda for the film, she added, “You will see more romance this time around. The earlier film was quite intense. Working with Aishwarya too is pretty amazing.”

Omung Kumar’s Sarbjit biopic starring Richa Chadha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda will be releasing on May 19th, 2016.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan invited to meet French President Francois Hollande

Former beauty queen and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a frequent visitor to the Cannes Festival for over a decade and has also acted in a handful of international ventures. The actress has now been invited to meet the French President himself in New Delhi on Republic Day.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be representing India on January 26, and has been invited for a lunch meet with the President of France, Francois Hollande. Though the actress is busy shooting for the biopic, Sarabjit, we hear that she will be taking time out for the event and will be flying to the capital for the same on the eve of January 25.

The said luncheon will be attended by several high profile personalities from India including the actress and will be hosted by the ambassador of France, Francois Richier at a famous Indian industrialist's residence in the city. »

Richa Chadha is known for playing unconventional characters and she is going to prove the same yet again with this challenging role. The actress is also preparing for a folk dance form performed by women – Giddha to be shot later this month.
