Salman Khan's response was unapologetic. "Salman will not apologise for the rape remark. He never says sorry. So why is he expected to now? In the past, he has been in many sticky situations. Not a murmur of an apology when he poured a beverage on Somy Ali, his then-girlfriend and no, it wasn't in her glass. Not a hint of an apology when he banged on Aishwarya Rai's door until his hand was a bloodied pulp and neighbours' eardrums were a shattered mess. It was Akshay Kumar who started it all, and guess it would be Akshay Kumar himself who will put a pause on it all!

When Airlift turned out to be a Superhit early this year and the first realistic drama (with a dash of biopic) to actually enter the 100 crore club, it seemed like there was some good future for the genre at all.
