Preity Zinta praises Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on her comeback

28 July 2015 4:12 AM, PDT | BollywoodHungama | See recent BollywoodHungama news »

Preity Zinta is full of praise for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback in Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa. Can two actresses ever be friends? If one hears Preity's fulsome praise for Aishwarya, the answer appears to be in the affirmative. Says Preity, "Aishwarya is looking absolutely smashing in the teasers of Jazbaa. Who says female actors, after marriage, are no longer in demand? Ash's getting the best of both the worlds. She's a great mom and wife, and she's doing the work that she wants to, on her own terms." Preity Zinta says it's a myth that married actresses don't have a career. "Look at Angelina Jolie. After getting married and with kids, she did Salt where she replaced Tom Cruise. And look at Ms Sharmila Tagore. Some of her best films came after marriage and motherhood." Speaking about her dosti with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Preity Zinta says, "I've been friends »

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya unwell

23 July 2015 5:02 AM, PDT | BollywoodHungama | See recent BollywoodHungama news »

Ever since the time the angelic Aaradhya Bachchan was born, the focus refused to shift from her. With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan now making a comeback in movies, little Aaradhya had to spend time away from mummy dearest. Even though multi-tasking is nothing new for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, this time round, managing (read 'juggling') her time between the shoot of her upcoming film Jazbaa and her family life (attending and cheering for hubby Abhishek Bachchan's team in the Pro-Kabaddi League match) seems to have taken a toll on her health. It is not just Ash who is unwell, but also her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan has apparently fallen ill. Bollywood Hungama wishes both mother and daughter a speedy recovery. »

Actors associated with sports go long back. While Salman Khan's ex flames Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's husband Abhishek and Katrina Kaif's fiancee Ranbir Kapoor own their respective Kabaddi teams - Pink Panthers and U Mumba, 'Dabangg' Khan was recently spotted at the Pro Kabaddi League.

Co-incidentally, Salman Khan attended a match between U Mumba and Puneri Paltan. While we are not sure if Sallu bhai was cheering for or against Ranbir Kapoor's team, the fact that this superstar attended a match of Ranbir Kapoor's team really excited us!

If Salman Khan was cheering for Ranbir Kapoor's team, then can we say that Sallu has finally forgiven Ranbir Kapoor?

Well, if that is the case, then can we say that Salman Khan's next patch-up after Shah Rukh Khan would be Ranbir Kapoor »

1 July 2015 2:07 AM, PDT | Bollyspice | See recent Bollyspice news »

Bollywood star Anushka Sharma is reportedly out of the race in the hunt for the female lead role in the forthcoming Salman Khan starrer Sultan. The action drama, which is being produced by Yash Raj Films, will commence shooting in the autumn and will be wrapped up in time for a Eid 2016 release. Anushka is one of Yrf’s favourite actresses, with whom she made her Bollywood debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) opposite Shah Rukh Khan. However, it appears that Anushka is now out of the race for this much-desired role. This is because of scheduling conflicts, as she has already given dates to Karan Johar for his forthcoming directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
