7 January 2013 6:47 PM, PST | The Backlot | See recent The Backlot news »

We've been talking about Chris Colfer's debut film Struck By Lightning for over a year, from our delight at learning Chris would write and star, through its initial premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival last April. On January 11th, it will finally be released theatrically (it's already available On Demand), and last night it had its official premiere in Hollywood.

Chris was there, as well as co-stars from the film and Glee, all justifiably proud. Congrats, Chris!
