27 July 2014 12:46 PM, PDT | The Wrap | See recent The Wrap news »

Producers and stars from Fox's “The Following” revealed details on the scrapped alternate ending to Season 2 and what's to come on Season 3. Stars Kevin Bacon, Shawn Ashmore, Sam Underwood and Jessica Stroup joined creator/executive producer Kevin Williamson and executive producers Marcos Siega and Jennifer Johnson at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday. The panel started with the fabled alternate ending, which was shot then scrapped for the one that actually aired. Even the stars had no idea which ending would air. Comic-Con: 'The Following' Producers Tease Season 3 Reset, Hitchcock Vibe

27 July 2014 11:38 AM, PDT | The Hollywood Reporter | See recent The Hollywood Reporter news »

[Warning: Spoilers ahead of The Following.] The Following is approaching season three like a reset. The Hall H crowd was treated to an alternate ending for the season-two finale, which saw Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) fatally shot by Mark Gray (Sam Underwood). The ending would have had larger implications for the new season, but creator Kevin Williamson insisted that things wouldn't change that much had Joe died or stayed alive, which the producers decided to go with. Plus, he wanted to keep the Joe Carroll thread dangling. Photos The Scene at Comic-Con 2014 "It was an opportunity

'The Following' scares up Season 3 hints at Comic-Con: Live-Blog

27 July 2014 11:15 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

It's Comic-Con Sunday. Woo! On Saturday, I live-blogged Wbtv's Night of DC Entertainment, "True Blood" and "The Vampire Diaries." Sunday is TV Day in Hall H and I'll be live-blogging panels for "Sons of Anarchy" and "The Strain." But first? Kevin Williamson and Kevin Bacon return to see if people are actually interested in what's in store for Season 3 of "The Following"...  Follow along... [See what I did there?] 11:13 a.m. The line to get into Hall H is, at the most, a couple hundred people and I'm guessing a couple thousand "Supernatural" fans departed. 11:15 a.m. Off we go! Our panel: Sam Underwood, Marcos Siega, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Williamson, Jennifer Johnson, Shawn Ashmore and Jessica Stroup. 11:18 a.m. They shot two endings last season, at least allegedly. With teases like this, I never know who's joking and which "special" endings are real. It begins as last season did with Kevin Bacon »

Casting: Elisabeth Moss And Luke Evans Join Ben Wheatley's 'High-Rise,' Craig Roberts Visits 'Red Oaks' & More

25 June 2014 10:42 AM, PDT | Indiewire Television | See recent Indiewire Television news »

A terrific cast is forming around U.K. filmmaker Ben Wheatley's net film, “High-Rise." The movie already stars Tom Hiddleston, Sienna Miller, Jeremy Irons and James Purefoy (HBO’s “Rome”). That’s good enough as it is, but announced last night, joining the cast are “Mad Men” and “Top Of The Lake” star Elisabeth Moss and Luke Evans of “The Hobbit” and the upcoming “Dracula Untold.” Based on the J.G. Ballard novel of the same name, the movie will chronicle the unnerving tale of life in a modern tower block running out of control. Wheatley's probably the most exciting filmmaker to come out of the U.K. in some time and has directed a succession of excellent genre films like the comedic serial killers film, "Sightseers," the hit man horror "Kill List," and the crime family comedic drama, "Down Terrace."
