There is one more Sweet 16 to celebrate. In the third installment of MTV's popular My Super Psycho Sweet 16 film series, Skye's little sister Alex is turning 16 - and she's not happy about it. We chatted with actress Kirsten Prout on bringing out the evil in Alex Bell. Did you ever feel like an outsider with the rest of the cast, since you didn't join the Super Psycho family until part two? No. It was such a great experience. In a sense, I definitely felt like I was part of the journey. At the same time, I got the benefit of getting to observe what a great rhythm the cast had. It was a great vibe and Alex Bell instantly became part of the Super Psycho family. Ever since I have felt like a mainstay in »

On March 13th the party is over for director Jacob Gentry - or rather the My Super Psycho Sweet 16 party is over with the release of Part 3 - the final installment in his modern send-up of the slasher genre series.
Dread Central recently caught up with Gentry to discuss ending the My Super Psycho Sweet 16 franchise, what fans can expect from Part Three and how he's reuniting with some of his fellow The Signal alumni for future projects.
Dread Central: How does it feel looking back on where the My Super Psycho Sweet 16 story was in the first film and how everything has culminated up until Part Three?
Jacob Gentry: When I started working on the first one, I always envisioned that fans would see the My Super Psycho Sweet 16 movies kind of like John Hughes meets John Carpenter. Sure, they're slasher movie send-ups, but »

Plus, Rebecca reveals her craziest side yet! I hope she never leaves Phoenix. The Jan. 30 episode of The Lying Game reminded me exactly why I love this show so much: It keeps us guessing week-to-week, but unlike its fellow ABC Family dramas about untrustworthy teenagers, it actually gives us answers. Not only did we learn the identity of the mysterious "snake" man, but we also discovered something unspeakable -- there's a second murderer in town! In a nutshell, it turns out it was Derek (Ben Elliott) who attacked Sutton (Alexandra Chando) in the backseat of her car, causing it to fall into the lake. But we probably shouldn't expect him to come clean about who he was working for, because he was found dead at the end of the episode! And since this isn't Pretty Little Liars, I'm not holding my breath for any mysterious texts from beyond the grave. »

This week’s episode of The Lying Game, “Pleased to Meet Me” was one of the more mediocre episodes of the bunch so far this season. While Sutton (Alexandra Chando) has returned home and is no longer in need of having Emma be her, the drama was not taken to its usual high. Instead of focusing on story development, this was more of a character driven episode in the sense that we were given some back story and we were finally able to see how certain characters act around others when the going gets tough. Overall, this is definitely not one of the most memorable episodes of The Lying Game, but it played its necessary part in this story and for that, it can be appreciated.

The Lying Game returned with all new episodes this week and brought fans of the book series a very sweet treat towards the end! If this week’s episode is any indication as to what we can look forward to in the second half of season one, there are going to be some mind blowing episodes ahead… especially with Charisma Carpenter joining the cast.
“Keep on being Sutton… Or you’re next.”
Carpenter joins the cast of Char’s (Kirsten Prout) Aunt, Annie. But she goes by her middle name, Rebecca now. And her relationship between all of the adults on the show as well as her true reasoning for coming back to town are still unclear. Sutton (Alexandra Chando) isn’t the only one playing a lying game that is for sure. It is going to be quite a thrill watching the drama unfold that is attached to Rebecca. »

On Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charisma Carpenter’s Cordelia was the enviable queen bee. But on The Lying Game, her character’s past is far cry from the popular girl Carpenter once played.
The actress begins her six-episode stint on the freshman teen drama tonight, playing Rebecca Sewell, Char’s (Kirsten Prout) once-teased aunt, who returns years after leaving the town many years ago. And she has something to prove, says Carpenter. “I think her true intention is to come back and re-invent herself from who she used to be back in the day,” she says. “Growing up with Alec »

Emma & Ethan's relationship was tested as more secrets emerged on the Jan. 2 winter premiere. Picking up immediately where the summer finale left off, the Jan. 2 winter premiere of The Lying Game set the stage for a dramatic -- and ridiculously confusing -- second half of the season. For starters, Emma's (Alexandra Chando) mystery party crasher turned out not to be the Annie Hobbs we were all expecting, but rather Annie "Rebecca" Sewell (Charisma Carpenter), who also happens to be Char's (Kirsten Prout) aunt. So why did Rebecca come back to Phoenix? Why did she change her name from Annie? And how is she connected to Annie Hobbs? None of these questions were answered in the premiere, but we do know Rebecca's got a hell of a past with Alec (Adrian Pasdar) and Ted (Andy Buckley.) In fact, unless I'm completely insane, I think I even saw a little spark between Rebecca and Alec. »
