I am reading her novel "The Shipping News" presently and noticed that one of the central characters: Agnis Hamm (The Aunt) is a lesbian. And now she has written a story about two gay cowboys. Do you think this is one of her interests? Does it reflect her own sexuality?

I'm just wondering. Thats all.

Maybe it's because such relationships are quite complex and hard to explore - which makes for the most interesting story's?
