In 1972, he starred in an unsold sitcom pilot called "The Bear and I" as the titular ursine character whom almost everyone thinks is a guy in a fur suit. Only the a kiddie show host, played by Soupy Sales, knows that the creature really is a talking bear.

Best known as the talking, cookie-mad bear during the last years of The Andy Williams Show
(1969). This character was always trying to wheedle a cookie out of Williams and was constantly, but never violently, rebuffed. Because of Prohaska's Hungarian accent, his voice was dubbed by one of the show's writers, Ray Reese
