The former couple announced their split in August, though, Pratt wrote the forward of Faris’ new book, Unqualified, which comes out on Tuesday.
“He was so kind to do that,” Faris, 40, said, explaining that Pratt got an advance copy of the book.
“We’re great,” she continued. “He’s amazing. We’re great friends and we always will be.”
When host Kelly Ripa commented how important it is to remain friends, Faris passionately agreed, responding, “It’s so true,” adding that “life is too short.”

James Gunn took to social media to announce that he's almost finished with the first draft of the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 script. The second installment of the Guardians franchise came out right before the summer and is the third highest grossing movie of 2017, earning some big-time cash at a relatively quiet year for the box office as a whole. But as far as the McU is concerned, the attention is directed squarely on the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok (which has been compared to Guardians in terms of humor and soundtrack) and the almighty Avengers: Infinity War.
Though Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was recently just released on Blu-ray/DVD, director James Gunn took to Instagram early Friday morning, bedhead and all, to announce that he's just about finished with the first draft of the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 script with 70 pages complete. Gunn had this to say.

Over the past few weeks we’ve had several Marvel superheroes confirmed for the cast of the currently in production Avengers 4, and now we have word of a supporting character set to make his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with IMDb reporting that Ty Simpkins is set to reprise his Iron Man 3 role as Harley Keener.
The now 16-year-old Simpkins played the young tech genius in the last Iron Man solo movie, and reportedly signed a three-film deal with Marvel at the time, prompting speculation that his character could go on to become a superhero character in his own right, perhaps as a version of Nova, or even a successor to Tony Stark as Iron Man.
Given that Avengers 4 is set to mark an end and a new beginning for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, perhaps Simpkins’ Harley is being prepped for a bigger role in Phase Four?

We’re still a long ways away from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but as the Marvel Cinematic Universe gets ready to close out Phase 3 over the next couple of years, we’re beginning to hear just how important James Gunn’s threequel is going to be to the franchise. Spoiler alert: it’ll play a key role in kickstarting the new story that’s set to shape Phase 4.
Of course, plot details and the like for the film are still scarce, but excitement is understandably high. After all, this is a journey that began with the release of the original Guardians of the Galaxy three years ago, and though it was deemed to be an exercise in risk-taking at the outset, Star-Lord and the gang have since cemented their place as some of the most likable characters populating the McU – the sheer love and fandom generated by Baby Groot »

Earlier today we brought you some comments from Josh Brolin about his upcoming role as Cable in 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool 2 and X-Force, but of course that’s not the only comic book role he has in the pipeline as 2018 will see him battling Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as Thanos in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War.
During an interview with Collider, Brolin has been chatting about his experience on the hotly-anticipated superhero epic, as well as sharing some praise for directors Anthony and Joe Russo.
“Dude, I’m in a position just personally where not everybody loves me and that’s okay,” said Brolin when asked if he’s concerned that fans will hate him for battling our favourite Marvel heroes. “Look, not everybody can be on your side all the time and that’s okay. When playing a character like this, dude, it’s like there’s »
